The agenda for May’s meeting is now available here. This meeting will include our Annual Meeting so proceedings will start at 7pm at the Village Hall.

Speeding along Arthington Lane is an issue frequently discussed at our meetings as it continues to be a concern for both residents and commuters alike.

With the help of our Ward Councillor Billy Flynn, we are in the process of bidding for funding for a solar powered Speed Indictor Device (SID), similar to those seen in Pool and other surrounding areas, to help alleviate the problem.

The police have also been monitoring the situation for some time now at our request and this week, a PSCO was spotted operating a mobile SID along the Lane.

Our ward now owns a mobile SID that residents can be trained to operate. If you would like to volunteer your time and be trained to use it, please contact us here.
